And here I am.

Professionally, I’m a communicator. If you want to get specific, I’m a specialist in internal communications. If you want to be even more specific than that, I work closely with IT to build, deploy, and manage big internal communications networks – usually intranets, but also internal social media and collaboration platforms.

When I’m not doing that, I write, I study, I cook, and I travel. My wife and I keep cats, I smoke meat and collect whiskey, and if left unattended for more than a half day or so I’ll usually be found surrounded by the disassembled guts of my project du jour.

Like so many of my trade, I have both a novel and a degree in progress. Unfortunately, they tend to interfere with each other, so when I should be writing or studying, I’ll usually pet a cat. Such is life.

Anyway, welcome to the backdoor of my psyche. Make yourself at home, don’t mind the cat hair.
